*Our Favorites!! :)

He wanted a picture too!
Still smiling with his eyes closed :)

In the book Whose Food is This?
They had some Fun Facts on each page about the
animal that they were talking about so
I thought I would share...
Really Interesting!

~A squirrel can tell if a nut is wormy just by smelling it.
If a nut has a worm, the squirrel tosses it away.

~An anteater can't see very well.
It uses its sense of smell to find anthills.

~A hummingbird can fly backward and even upside down.
That's a handy skill for a bird that finds food in hard-to-reach places.

~A Panda eats more than 25 pounds of bamboo a day.

~A cow's burped up food is called cud.
When you see a cow that looks like it is chewing gum,
it is probably chewing its cud.

~The fruit bat scatters seeds when it spits them out.
This helps the fruit tree grow new plants.

~An ostrich doesn't have teeth, so it eats pebbles, too.
The pebbles help crush the plants in a special part of the bird's
stomach called the gizzard.

~The average American eats 46 slices of pizza each year.
More pizzas are eaten on Saturday night than on any other
night of the week.

Did you Learn something NEW? I know I did!!

like they were talking to me.
Great Easter Weekend!!

Monday Family Home Evening: EASTER Lesson

How Could the Father tell the world
of love and tenderness?
He sent his Son, a newborn babe,
with peace and holiness.

How could the Father show the world
the pathway we should go?
He sent his son to walk with men on earth,
that we may know.

How could the Father tell the world
of sacrifice, of death?
He sent his Son to die for us and
rise with living breath.

What does the Father ask of us?
What do the Scriptures say?
Have faith, have hope, live like his Son,
help others on their way.
What does he ask?
Live like his Son.

Our celebration of Easter is not complete unless we
acknowledge that while He did suffer and die for us,
He also lives for us.

The True Meaning....

Of Easter!

The First Presidency Easter Message:

In it, The Brethren testified of the physical reality of the Resurection of Jesus Chirst-
not a metaphorical message, a symbolic story–but the physical reality of His death,
burial, and triumphant Resurrection from the dead:

"At this Easter season of hope and renewal we testify of the glorious reality of the atonement and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. The empty tomb brought comforting assurance and provided the answer to the question of Job, “If a man die, shall he live again?” (Job 14:14).

Because of the Savior’s resurrection we will overcome death and become the beneficiaries of His mercy and grace. In a world of trouble and uncertainty, His peace fills our hearts and eases our minds. Jesus is in very deed “the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6).

We give our sure witness that Jesus is the Christ.Though He was crucified, He rose triumphant from the tomb to our everlasting blessing and benefit. To each member of the human family He stands as our Advocate, our Savior, and our Friend."

Happy Easter!!
