This last week I was talking to a friend and in her family they
go around to the houses in the area
and Votes on the Best one.
The Winner gets a Box a Chocolates or Treat!

I thought it was a cute idea...
So on Bronsen's birthday we started a new Stolworthy Family Tradition.
In our Local Newspaper they have a list of Holiday light Displays
recommended by readers, with descriptions.
So we mapped the addresses that we thought would be great and went!!
So Enjoy!!
House "A" Description:
A ton of bright lights, reindeer, all the Disney princess,
"Nemo" characters, Mickey and Minnie, Buzz Lightyear and Woody,
Winnie the Pooh, Wall-e and even Tinkerbell.
A Favorite for the Kids!!
We turned the corner of the street and was Amazed!!
Bronsen even picked out Mickey Mouse out of the decorations..
They did a GREAT job!!

House "B" Description:
Santa & reindeer flying through the air(by a wire),
white trees and reindeer, a Nativity scene, Disney characters,
a carousel with animals, candy canes, hot air balloon.
Lights on two sides of the corner home.

This one was really simple but CUTE!!
House "C" Descriptions:
More than 20,000 lights;the yard is guarded by snowmen,
the train is coming through the candy cane archway,
the soldiers-lined sidewalk is the path to the animated bay window,
the manger is lit, with the three wise men,
and the angel is a-tooting her horn; the carolers are singing
outside the church and the gingerbread people are outside playing;
packages are all wrapped, under the tree, and
Santa's sleigh is packed and ready to rock and roll.

As we drove up to this house,
Santa came out to the car and gave us some candy canes.
So we gave him a Box of Chocolates.
He told us Mrs. Clause just finished 20doz. of cookies
so this box of Chocolates will just add to the load...Thanks!!

Close-Up on the Bay Window:
Collection of Snowmen!

House "D" Description:
Christmas musical synchronized light show
with 80,000 lights and 456 computer-programmed channels.
Farm animals sing, dance and wiggle, along with Santa flying
and also dancing. See Porky, Fog Horn, Chicks, Dom the Donkey,
Flying Pigs singing and dancing, a 25-foot, two 8-foot and
20 4-foot trees rolling to the music and much more.
Tune into 99.7 and follow along!

This was quite LONG but it was FUN to watch!!
Enjoy the Movie:

The first house definitely looks the BEST!! So fun that Santa came out though. Someday I will go BONKERS with my house decor--LOL!! Believe that when I see it.
Ok, small world but I went through this neighborhood LAST NIGHT! I swear, it looks just like it!
Could we be neighbors?
What a great tradition. What did the people say when you brought them the candy?
